The Daily Maid has always supported local charities, with Claire House and St Johns Hospice being closest to our hearts. This year we are supporting the innaugral Claire House Summer Festival, which will be held on the 24th – 26th June, at Wirral Rugby Club.
The Claire House Summer Festival 2011 ethos is to stage a community based event that not only raises valuable funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice but also to help local community groups in raising awareness and funds for their own cause.
We invite local craft artisans and food producers to come along and join in the fun. The Festival is shaping up to be host to a wonderful local Farmers Market and Craft Fair showcasing unique and high quality range of food stuffs, crafts and gifts.
It will be a family orientated event with fairground rides, a climbing wall and pony rides. Also face painting, clairvoyant, pet’s corner, artists, live music and dance. The Main Arena will host various displays during the two days plus a Tug Of War.
There’ll be lots to keep the whole family entertained with fairground rides, a climbing wall, pony rides, face painting, clairvoyant, a mini-farm, artists, live music and dance. The Main Arena will play host to various displays throughout the weekend including a Tug Of War competition.
